The main objectives of the Department of Software and Information Networks are:

• introducing and implementing the existing scientific and consumer software packages, as well as developing them;
• creating web, computer and mobile applications;
• adjusting GIS technology services to web hosting;
• daily monitoring and developing all the necessary servers and software, as well as the database of the Institute;
• storing geophysical data;
• serving the computer network of the Institute.
